Two Day Short Courses
Norwich Union Risk Services offers a range of specifically developed short courses designed to keep you up to date with the key health and safety issues affecting your organisation. These courses are designed to cover the issues that are relevant to you.
Safety Representatives Course
This course aims to provide safety representatives/nominated employee representatives with an awareness of the functions that come with this role. During the two days we will look at risk assessment and hazard spotting, safety inspections, health and safety law and accident prevention. A mix of presentations, group discussions and syndicate exercises will be used during the two days.
Safety Auditing Course
This course covers the skills and techniques needed for effective safety auditing. The first part of the course examines the role of auditing, techniques of auditing and interpretation of audit findings. The second part of the course looks closely at auditing systems, including the Norwich Union Risk Services auditing tool, which can be used to systematically and critically examine an organisations health and safety systems and performance.
