Online library covers road safety at work

The US National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) has put together a free online library of resources from around the world covering the prevention of road traffic injuries and deaths while at work.

NIOSH said the library contained information on "best practices" including engineering controls, policies, administrative procedures, and guidance to employers or workers about safety on the roads.

"Thank you to all who have contributed to this library," said NIOSH director John Howard. He added that the library would continue to be developed and that contributions would be welcomed.

The 'Road Safety at Work' library can be accessed here.
