Online advice on new alarm standards

The BSIA said the site would useful information on the new standards including a number of advice and guidance documents, including a factsheet giving basic information for end-users on the changes.

BSIA spokeswoman Kay Wright, said: "The introduction of European standards for intruder alarms has been a key development for the intruder alarm sector this year. We endeavour to keep our members up to date with all the latest information and have produced a number of key documents to assist both them and their customers.

"Placing these documents together in one area on the BSIA website means that we have created a one stop shop for information on the new standards which will hopefully prove to be an invaluable tool for the intruder alarm sector and its customers."
